The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, appeared this Friday before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) as part of the contentious electoral appeal to settle matters concerning the presidential elections of July 28.

In response to the call of the country's highest court, the Head of State presented the evidence supporting his victory on the democratic day, as certified by the National Electoral Council (CNE), which dismantles the allegations of alleged “fraud” made by the extreme opposition right, in the context of their ignorance of the institutions and their violent plans against the country.

The Venezuelan Dignitary, former candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB), is the ninth of the ten candidates mentioned to attend before the Supreme Court. The representative of violent opposition extremism, Edmundo González Urrutia, was the only one to disregard the call.

Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez, who presides over the Electoral Chamber, summoned the ten electoral candidates, as well as representatives of the organizations for political purposes that participated in the electoral process.
