President Maduro approves construction of university where the Operations Theater operated in Yumare

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved the construction of a public university in the Manuel Monge municipality of Yaracuy state on the land where an Armed Forces Theater of Operations operated where, following orders from the governments of the Fourth Republic, crimes and torture were committed against guerrilla fighters and peasants.

This is a request made by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, on the afternoon of this Thursday, July 18, who visited the entity as part of a day of support for the candidacy of the head of state and the Revolution.

“Diosdado, this public university is approved to offer careers in medicine, nursing, engineering and to pay homage to the Venezuelans who were criminally murdered there,” said President Maduro.
