The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on the deputies of the National Assembly to accelerate the process of enacting the Simon Bolivar Law that defends the Homeland from the “junk law of the United States that endorses sanctions and blockades against the country”.
This was stated on the afternoon of this Wednesday, November 20, and in that sense he added that “our Liberator Simon Bolivar was an exceptional human being who was a sublime expression of the moment, the greatest among the great ones, because there were many giants”.
In that vein, he added that “the enemies of Venezuela, the embezzlers of freedom, intend to support a law against the homeland, which is why today we have an anti-blockade law in defense of Venezuela that will bear the glorious name of El Libertador”.
The Head of State congratulated the National Assembly and “I ask for speed in its enactment and I also ask all the people to support the fight against the garbage law on the street to fight (...) That law we will also defeat, we will make them bite the dust and we will give them a biblical rout so that they respect the Homeland that saw the birth of the liberators of America”.
