With the participation of five thousand young people from all over the country, the Youth Camp for Peace was held in the Alí Primera Park, located in the Sucre parish of Caracas, from January 8 to 13, the date on which the campers returned happily to their corresponding states.
This was reported on the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in a video released by the Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Grecia Colmenares, on the social network Instagram, in which you can hear the message of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, via telephone during the closing of this activity, which was also attended by more than 90 international delegations and national guests to share with the youth Venezuelan.
“My greeting, I thank you very much for how you filled the parks, the avenues, the streets with joy. Take that experience, share it in the communal circuit, in work teams, in community circuits, in high schools, universities, in the neighborhood, in every space,” urged the national president.
In addition, he asked young people to “bring the truth of what has been a great triumph of reason and of the moral and historical strength of our country. We have triumphed again on the path of peace, on our path, that of Bolivar, Zamora and Chávez,” he said.
Thousands of campers were present in Caracas to celebrate the swearing in of the constitutional president for the new term 2025-2031 and to develop a cultural, recreational, sports, political and social agenda during their stay in the capital city.
“The people call me the workers' president. I have now been sworn in as president of the town, but I am truly the president of the youth; I assume to be the president of the youth, of students, poets, cultivators, of those who love, believe, of sports people, of all of you, boys and girls,” he said.
Emphasizing celebrating the achievements of Venezuelan youth, the head of state insisted on safeguarding peace in all spaces. “Let's continue to develop education, culture, science, technology, let's continue to strengthen the country's universities, let's continue to strengthen the quality of education in high schools; our culture, sports and all spaces for youth, you always count on me.”
