The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, made an appearance at the swearing in of Joana Sánchez as the new governor of the state of Aragua.

The act held at the monument to Samán de Güere, where Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez took the oath that gave birth to the Bolivarian Renaissance, located in the city of Maracay, capital of the Aragüeña entity, the National President was accompanied by the first lady, Cilia Flores.

Joana Sánchez won a resounding victory in the last elections of May 25, where more than 86% of Aragüeans supported her to assume the reins of the regional executive for the period 2025-2029.
