President Maduro: Bolivarian Government has so far captured more than 150 mercenaries

This Wednesday, January 15, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that to date the Bolivarian Government has managed to capture more than 150 mercenaries of 25 nationalities, “this is to give a single fact”.

He emphasized that these mercenaries “intended to fill with bombs, attacks on fundamental public services.”

“It has been demonstrated that we have made progress in everything that has to do with intelligence, counterintelligence,” she highlighted at the Teresa Carreño Theater, where she gave her Annual Message to the Nation, as established in article 237 of the National Constitution.

In this regard, he stated that “they are captured, they are convicted and practically all are confessed, in the hands of the Public Ministry, of justice and actively collaborating. They are 25 nationalities, they are singing more than Pavarotti (opera singer)”.

The head of state thanked the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), all the police forces in the country, the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM) and the Investigations Corps for their efforts to patrol, prevent and reveal conspiracies Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Law (CICPC).

“Thank you guys so much. God bless and care for them. You take care of the Homeland every day,” he said.

He considered it very important to explain to the People how it has been possible to defeat “the mercenary infiltration that was intended. I said a number, today it's higher.”
