The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the presentation of the National Culture Award 2023-2024, pointed out that faced with the danger of transculturization with its anti-values that come from the north through its social media corporations, the strategy is none other than to resist while moving forward with the indigenous.

“To resist the anti-values to the cultural decay of the western empire of the north, before whom we only have left, to resist and resist, full of colors of strength and energy and then move forward in the construction of the new, to advance in a great Cultural and Spiritual Revolution that, from its Venezuelan roots, allows us to place society at the doors of a new modernity of harmony, profoundly human in a new society,” said the Head of State.

The President stressed that, although many societies have created cultures that reflect power, it is also essential to recognize the artistic manifestations that arise from resistance, such as theater and music.

“In depth, seeing the black theater of Barlovento, we realize that theater, music and the culture of resistance are also generated,” he emphasized.
