President Maduro celebrates first anniversary of the Great Science, Innovation and Technology Mission

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated the first anniversary of the Great Mission of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán.

From the Venezuelan Science and Technology Park More Science, the Head of State praised historic advances in consolidating the scientific ecosystem.

He explained that the mission was created with the objective of making visible the advances of science in the country and accompanying national development, based on ancient knowledge and science.

The National President toured the park in the company of the First Combatant, Cilia Flores; the Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez; the Minister of Popular Power for University Education, Ricardo Sánchez; and the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia.
