The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, challenged the media of the United States (USA) to investigate how much money the Venezuelan right has received for 25 years from governments of that country.

“How much money has the Venezuelan right stolen from the United States itself in 25 years? 10 billion and I fall short How much do you say Diosdado (Cabello)? 50 billion says Diosdado. And that is American taxpayer money and that someone denies to me in the United States press that they like to talk so much about Venezuela,” he challenged.

During the working day at the Miraflores Palace, he pointed out that despite the narrative that an attempt has been made against him and the country to position himself in the North American nation, “we have the love of the people of the world, we have the love of the people of the United States.”

“You know that despite so many false accusations, they know that it is not Maduro who is oil,” he said and recalled that the accusations against the Bolivarian Government are based on falsehoods and dismiss the conscious Venezuelan people.

“ They can't say about Maduro that I have weapons of mass destruction, that we have chemical weapons. Can you say that? No! So they say that Maduro doesn't know what and they repeat three, five lies, but they haven't understood that he's not Maduro, he's a Republic, he's a people willing to defend their sovereignty, their independence, their glorious history,” he emphasized.

He argued that, despite these actions that seek to justify the aggressions of imperialism against the Venezuelan people, their economy and their freedom to trade with the world, “Venezuela will continue its course in peace and we continue to tell the world at the pace of change: yes peace! No crazy war!”
