President Maduro commemorated the birth of Mao Zedong: One of the giants of the 20th century!

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated this Friday the birth of Mao Zedong, whom he described as one of the great political and strategic references of the 20th century, highlighting his role in the formation of a revolutionary army of workers and peasants that allowed the Chinese people to overcome imperial rule.
“We celebrate the birth of Mao Zedong, one of the giants of the 20th century. His genius in the strategy and formation of a revolutionary army of workers and peasants demonstrated that peoples can defeat empires. His legacy taught us that: 'Weapons are an important factor in war, but not the decisive factor; the decisive factor is man and not things',” he said through his Telegram channel.
In this regard, the head of state stressed that Mao's vision of war and politics was key to the victory and liberation of China.
He also stated that, thanks to leadership such as that of Mao Zedong, China managed to recover its status as a millennial power, becoming over time a superpower of knowledge, education and technology, with its own development project.
He reaffirmed his admiration for the Chinese leader's ability to restore dignity to a nation, noting that his figure represents rebellion, self-determination and the sovereign construction of a national model.
The president noted that these values continue to inspire Venezuela in the defense of its sovereignty, independence and political project, in the face of the challenges of the international context.
