President Maduro complies with La Guajira and delivers Pumping System: Holy Water for the People (+photos)

In compliance with the town of La Guajira, in the state of Zulia, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, inaugurated this Friday the El Brillante Pumping System, which will benefit more than 50,000 inhabitants of this indigenous community.

“Blessed water for the people who resisted and who have lived in this land and that even the Spanish empire was not able to get it out of here”, were the words of the National President who celebrated this putting into service together with members of this community of the original peoples.

In addition to the pumping system, it delivered two 32,000 liter super tanks to strengthen the distribution system of vital liquid in this sector.

This work was born after the visit of the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, to this region where he confirmed this problem faced by this town since 2006, according to the inhabitants.

Faced with this, President Maduro committed himself to carrying out this work, which today is a reality and which confirms what the Venezuelan head of state said: “I don't promise, I commit myself and I fulfill”.
