President Maduro congratulated the People for their high participation in Community Assemblies

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, greeted and congratulated the People who participated this Saturday in the Assemblies of Citizens and Citizens to nominate the projects of the fourth National Popular Consultation.

“I salute and congratulate the high participation, effervescence and popular passion demonstrated in this #1Nov; more than 2,500 Assemblies of Popular and Communal Power, stating: “We are moving towards a new system of Direct and Neighborhood Democracy!” , wrote the president in his account on the social network Telegram.

In the framework of the construction of the Communal State and the exercise of direct and leading democracy, the Head of State said: “This people said enough and started out 27 years ago in Venezuela. And in every community, it continues to demolish the old bureaucratic and bourgeois monsters, as Gramsci warned: defeat those who are not yet defeated; we will defeat them! Let's continue with that strong popular-military-police fusion!”

“And today, November 2, let's go to Cayapa from every level of government: Back on track, heading towards the elections of November 23!” , added the national president.
