President Maduro convenes meetings to nominate projects this weekend

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced that for this weekend (Saturday first and Sunday, November 2), assemblies will be held throughout the national territory for the nomination of projects for the upcoming National Popular Consultation on November 23.
From the Commune of Cara al Rio, in the Brisas de Petare sector in Miranda state, the Head of State called for organized Popular Power to celebrate these days accompanied by “sancochos”.
“The nomination and decision of the neighborhood projects for the communal consultation of November 23 will take place this weekend and we as the Revolutionary Government, all deployed (...) all with the People sharing in their debates, their desires, to sit down with the people,” he instructed.
The Head of State urged the godparents of the country's states to attend the meetings over the weekend.
He added that the People in the assemblies must have “absolute freedom to nominate whatever project they want”.
