President Maduro criticized US “diplomacy of deception”: Sanctions have never been lifted

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, denounced this Monday “the diplomacy of deception” used by the United States government, pointing out the non-compliance by the current White House administration with regard to the lifting of so-called sanctions against the country.

“Sanctions have never been lifted, on the contrary, they threaten more sanctions, but the sanctions are there, despite the fact that the United States government promised to lift them, it did not comply,” the Head of State revealed.

He indicated that in the face of these events, the instruction given to the economic and political team, as well as to the Venezuelan people, is to continue working in order not to depend on anyone.

“The United States did not do anything, they deceived, that's why I tell the economic team, the political team, I tell the people the most important thing; let's keep working, there they, with their evil, their sanction and their conspiracy, here we don't depend on anyone,” he said.
