President Maduro denounced the presence of secret military bases of the Southern Command and the CIA in the Essequibo

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Wednesday, April 03, denounced that “secret military bases of the Southern Command and centers of the CIA” have been installed in the territory of Guiana Essequiba.

He stressed that the objective is “to prepare aggressions against the population of Tumermo, in the south and east of Venezuela and to prepare for an escalation against Venezuela.”

Faced with this scenario, the head of state urged the Venezuelan people to be alert to defend the peace of the Fatherland.

“You always have to be prepared with your guard up, your morale up to defend Venezuela's right to peace and its territorial integrity,” he emphasized.
