President Maduro elevates Mission Vuelta a la Patria to vice-presidency

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, elevated the Mission Back to the country's executive vice-presidency to ensure its maximum efficiency and effectiveness in caring for the migrant population.

In his annual message to the nation from the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, he specified that the intention is to increase the return of compatriots to the country to live in their homeland. “Let them come to work, to study, to dance and to live in their homeland,” he said.

The Head of State detailed the advances made in economic, security, social and cultural matters during his most recent year in office in his speech. The event is attended by representatives of the State, including the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Venezuela, governors, members of the ministerial cabinet and sector vice-presidents, as well as leaders of Missions and Great Missions, and the Military High Command.
