The president, Nicolás Maduro during his program “With Maduro +” expressed solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom who “like many countries in Europe are experiencing a polarization driven by social networks that has led them to hatred between different social and racial groups.
“The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom came out to denounce a hate campaign, orchestrated through Instagram, TikTok and other social networks to generate the fascist violence that has shaken London and other British cities that keeps society in a state of shock,” said the Head of State.
He stressed that the Bolivarian Government has been the victim of several hate campaigns such as the one experienced at the end of the electoral campaign of July 2024.
He pointed out that these disinformation and xenophobic campaigns, added to the hiring of young people trained for violence, are the cause of riots in the days after 28J.
