President Maduro: FANB has my full support in actions against drug trafficking and TANCOL

This Wednesday, April 30, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recognized the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), for its excellent and tireless fight against drug trafficking throughout the national territory.

“All my support to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, so that actions against drug trafficking continue, against the TANCOL,” he emphasized.

He assured that the FANB, “they have my support to go with everything and to keep our territory free from everything bad that comes from Colombia. Which unfortunately do not respond to our calls. So in view of this answer. Let's defend our entire border as before.”

He praised the quality intelligence and counterintelligence work that has succeeded in dismantling the mafias.

“General Padrino would like to convey to all the officials, to the country's military intelligence and to the perfect Popular Military-Police Fusion, my congratulations for the great successes in Catatumbo and Zulia,” he said.

He added that “they have freed Catatumbo from Colombian drug trafficking, because what is coming from Colombia is drug trafficking, violence, irregular groups. On the Colombian side, no one answers the phone.”

“The FANB is an absolute guarantee of peace and revolution, to build with our own efforts as it should be,” he said.

This was stated during the celebration of the 14th Anniversary of the Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV), at the El Gigante Socialist City Urbanism, Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, in the state of Bolívar.

He also highlighted that the Bolivarian Government is keeping its actions active, “against corruption, against crime and drug trafficking. Whoever falls.”
