The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that what happened this Monday, July 29, in several cities of the country by the extremist right and the violent commandments after the elections was planned to intimidate the people, tarnish peace and the electoral process.

“15 days before the elections, the fascist right announced that they would not recognize the results of the National Electoral Council (CNE) and they dedicated themselves to receiving money from Colombian drug trafficking, money from the United States Government to finance new criminal gangs,” he explained.

During his speech, he pointed out that after the work of the security forces and social intelligence, “we have contained them, we are going to discover them and grab them all because of this we are victorious”.

“We need the greatest union of popular forces, police and military forces right now to compensate for peace and order,” he said.
