The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Monday that the national government is working to recover and guarantee all the contractual rights of workers and basic companies in the country.

“We will move forward in the full recovery of all the contractual rights of workers and companies in the months and to come. There are things that sometimes have to be done in silence,” said the Head of State during the 50th edition of his Con Maduro+ program.

From Guyana, in Bolívar state, the Venezuelan dignitary confirmed that oligarchic models seek to privatize national resources, and recalled past incidents such as the privatization of the Orinoco Steel Company (SIDOR) in 1989. “There are two visions here, two models: ours, of sovereignty and productive recovery, and theirs, which only seek to plunder and privatize,” he criticized.

“Who called for sanctions against basic businesses? Let everyone draw their own conclusions. If we had not remained firm and resisted, we would never have been able to make progress in the recoveries and we already have the design for the future,” said President Maduro.
