President Maduro: Government seeks to promote the creation of new business opportunities at the commercial level

In order to promote the productive sector, as well as technological advances and strategic alliances, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the achievements in presenting a balance sheet of the Productive Engines of Venezuela 2025.

He argued that the objective is to promote the creation of new business opportunities at the commercial level, and thus strengthen the underpinning of Venezuela, both nationally and internationally

In this sense, from the Caracas Polyhedron, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Expo Productive Engines 2025, this event has attracted the participation of important companies from the 14 Productive Engines, with 15 exhibition stands, and a generic main stand, with the aim of showing their high production capacity and innovation.

Regarding the areas, he specified that these are a significant number of products in the following areas: Hydrocarbons; Agrifood, Fishing and Aquaculture; Non-Oil Exports; Mining and Basic Industries; Civil and Military Industry; National and International Tourism; Construction; Pharmaceutical; Digital Bolivar; Banking and Securities Market.

Also in terms of Entrepreneurship; Socialist and Solidarity Community Economy; Telecommunications and New Technologies and Transportation and Roads.

For his part, the president of the National Association of Supermarkets and Self-Services (ANSA), Italo Atencio, pointed out that this season, on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, there has been an increase of 5% compared to 2024 in sales of products in supermarkets.

“In addition, there has been a growth in the existence of new supermarkets nationwide for 20 consecutive quarters,” he said.
