President Maduro greeted the 910 international companions for the presidential elections

This Saturday, July 27, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, greeted during a meeting the 910 International Companions who are in Venezuela to experience what will be the presidential elections this Sunday.

“Many have had meetings in different regions of the country, political parties and candidates. There are 910 Guests and Overseers, legally invited by the Electoral Power, from more than one hundred countries. It's quite a global event, the elections in Venezuela,” he stressed.

He also highlighted to the companions from more than 100 countries that Venezuela is a country with a wonderful history, as well as that of all our sister countries, while highlighting the pride that Venezuelans feel in their history.

“It's a wonderful story, what could be called the past history of the resistance of our original peoples, who had their form of social organization, their languages, their cultural expressions, their ways of life, their economic ways and who were part of the vast region that today we call America and the Caribbean, who lived in harmony with nature,” he said.

At the same time, he told them about the experience he had with the original peoples of Venezuela during his electoral campaign, in which he toured every corner of the country to continue listening to the people.
