The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed this Sunday that his Government is not susceptible to pressure of any kind from internal or external power factors.

“He didn't put any lobby on me. Have you heard, the military, that I'm here because of the oil lobby or the lobby of the pretty ones? Or I don't know, did the lobby that lives in Miami put me here and pressure me?” , questioned the head of state during the ceremony of Military Obratón and New Year's Eve Salutation to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

He emphasized that “this is why we are not pressurable by anyone, blackmailed by anyone. We don't have a straw tail, we have the pure soul of Bolivarian patriots of the 21st century and beyond. And each of us knows the role we have to play.”

In this regard, he highlighted the importance of the perfect popular military-police fusion, which this year 2025 has demonstrated in practice its strength and political effectiveness.

“And when I say political effectiveness, it's because the popular military-police fusion responded to threats one by one, responded to challenges, responded to solutions together with the people,” he said.
