President Maduro heads the National Defense Council and the Council of State

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led this Monday the meeting of the National Defense Council and Council of State, held in the Sucre Hall of the Yellow House, headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry.

The meeting is accompanied by the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez; the political and military high command, the different sectoral vice-presidents of the government, the attorney general, Tarek William Saab; the Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruiz

It is important to note that since July 30, the Council of State and the Defense of the Nation has been in permanent session, the date on which this Monday 's meeting was convened.

This meeting represents an act exercised by the national president in connection with his onslaught, for the protection of the nation.
