President Maduro highlighted the tenth anniversary of the civic-military-police exercises

President Nicolás Maduro, during the beginning of the First Popular, Military and Police Bolivarian Shield Exercise 2025, highlighted the unity of the People in arms to guarantee peace, sovereignty, freedom and true democracy of the Homeland.

“We are going to celebrate 10 years since the Bolivarian Shield exercises began in the country, to defend our right to full and permanent sovereignty,” reiterated the Head of State.

He stressed that Venezuela is a country at peace, because the threats that have loomed over the Homeland by fascism supported by imperialism have been combated in a preventive manner.

He also stressed that this year's exercises will be the most comprehensive exercises ever carried out in the country.

“In 2025, the Bolivarian Shield Exercises will take place in perfect fusion between the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the People and the police forces, guaranteeing peace and security throughout the national territory,” he said.
