The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that he will appear before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), this Friday, August 09, “and I will answer all the questions that the Court asks me.”

“I told Diosdadao Cabello, political leader of the PSUV and to the entire Great Patriotic Pole, to prepare for us to deliver, if required, as I am sure it will be, 100% of the acts that are in our possession,” he stressed.

In that regard, he said that he hoped that all candidates and political parties would also hand over their respective collections.

He made the point when he commented that the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) has already judicially summoned, in accordance with the laws of the country, the 10 candidates who participated in the Presidential Election last Sunday, July 28, as well as the 38 heads of the political parties.

“The court summons came to me, and I have to go on Friday,” and he said that he was thinking about whether or not to summon the Venezuelan people to accompany him to the Supreme Court. “Let me think about it, stop the fuss,” he said.

At the Miraflores Palace, where he received the mobilization of the Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland in defense of Peace and their re-election to the Presidency of the Republic, the head of state, stated that “the big question, all the candidates and parties have been summoned to the courts: Which of the candidates will not attend? We'll see.”
