President Maduro: I am sure that Marisel Velásquez will be a successful governor for all and for all

President Nicolás Maduro highlighted the importance of the election of Marisel Velásquez as governor of the state of Nueva Esparta to ensure efficient and effective management at the service of the People.

“Marisel is going to be a successful governor for all and for all with an inclusive government, a government of all and for all,” she said during her speech at the swearing in of the new ruler of the Neo-Spartan entity for the period 2025-2029.

“I knew this day was going to come,” he said, referring to the return of a revolutionary government in the state of Nueva Esparta.

“Today is a day of victory, a day of renewed hope, a day for union, for a shared dream, a day for the encounter and reunion of all the genuine forces of the People,” he said, while not hesitating to envision a successful administration by the new ruler.

“With her career as a working woman, she has been building her path, she was re-elected mayor for four terms and from her homeland she now comes to dedicate all her experience to the entire state of Nueva Esparta,” she said.
