President Maduro: I ask the child Jesus to grant, for now and forever, perpetual peace and prosperity to Venezuela

On the night of December 24, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, made a request on the eve of the birth of the baby Jesus, to grant Venezuela peace and prosperity.

“One can communicate directly with God the truth through prayer and can invoke the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Divine Trinity, so that with his blessings he may give us wisdom to, with wisdom, ask the child Jesus to grant us for now and forever perpetual peace and prosperity for the noble and good people of Venezuela,” he invoked.

From the Miraflores Palace where he shared a Christmas Dinner with the People that lasted beyond midnight, the head of state emphasized the capacity of the Venezuelan people to resist aggression and continue in peace to carve out their future as free and sovereign men and women.

“If it is true that there are trickles, some important, others less important, but more than stalks, the most important thing is that there is hope that Venezuela will be better every day that passes, and that every test that life puts on us God gives us the strength to overcome as he gave it to David against Goliath,” he said at the time that he did not doubt the victory of peace for all Venezuelans.

“Venezuela will always win on the path of peace and love,” he said.
