If it were for Venezuela, for the Revolution, the American oil company Chevron could spend another 100 years in our country participating in the exploitation of crude oil, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
During the opening ceremony of the Walk of the Heroines of Resistance and Independence in the Paseo Monumental de los Próceres, Fuerte Tiuna, the Head of State regretted that this company had to abandon its work in Venezuela as a result of the new unilateral coercive measures imposed on our country by the government of Donald Trump, at the request of the Venezuelan extreme right.
“We don't have problems with Chevron, we get along well. They wanted to label us as anti-American, but that's a lie. What we are is anti-imperialists, we are independence fighters and Bolivarians,” he said.
In the same way, he stressed that any company that wishes to come to the country to work is welcome.” Anyone who wants to come to work within the framework of the Constitution, of the laws, in a win-win, is welcome,” he stressed.
