President Nicolás Maduro, during an activity with the scientific sector, inaugurated the Electromedicine Center, the nucleus of the Cayapa Heroic National Plan, in Cumanacoa, Sucre state, for the recovery of medical equipment, with innovation and Venezuelan hands.
During this activity, he announced a significant investment to provide the country with three new electronic microscopes, considered to be among the most advanced in the region.
“These teams are intended to promote scientific research and development in key sectors such as industry, health and life in general,” said the Head of State.
During a working day dedicated to the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, at the ministry's facilities in the state of Miranda, the president highlighted the significant progress in technological education in the country.
In the company of Minister Gabriela Jiménez, the president presented the new research space that will house these high-precision equipment.
He specified that microscopes, with a resolution of 0.4 nanometers, will strengthen research in crucial areas such as the analysis of materials, biological samples, geochemistry and criminalistics.
“This advance will have a direct and positive impact on the pharmaceutical, metalworking, mining and military industries, consolidating Venezuela's scientific and technological capacity,” said the president.
