President Maduro inaugurates the Isabel Gómez Pediatric Hospital in the state of Bolívar

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, through a television show on the presidential day of this Friday, December 26, together with the governor of the state of Bolivar, Yulisbet García, inaugurated the “Isabel Gómez” Pediatric Hospital.

During a meeting with the country's sectoral vice-presidents, the Head of State was informed of the modernized modernization works carried out in the spaces.

Among the reconstructions carried out by the “Together All Is Possible” Corporation were roof waterproofing; coating and painting; ceiling repair; installation of air conditioners and lamps; installation of electrical outlets and switches; bathroom plumbing repairs; carpentry; aerial and façade; cleaning of the granite floor, complete equipment of the pediatric hospital.

This hospital complex has 100 hospital beds; 2 operating rooms, 4 recovery beds, 4 pediatric intensive care units, trauma-shock, nebulization room, 22 places for neonatal therapy, laboratory, imaging, blood bank and milk bank.

It also has 5 observation beds, 16 specialized consultations, echocardiogram consultations, electroencephalogram neurology, pediatric nephrology, neonatology and pediatric surgery. In addition, from now on they will have a dental service with the latest generation equipment.

The governor of the state of Bolívar thanked the President for his attention to his entity and especially to the boys and girls of the region. Currently, this hospital provides care to more than 700,000 inhabitants of the communities near the medical center, performing complex diagnoses and surgeries, exclusively for boys, girls and adolescents.
