President Maduro instructs the articulation of the 13 Productive Engines with the ALBA-TCP

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, instructed this Tuesday to prioritize in the country's foreign policy the 13 Productive Engines articulated with the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).

During a meeting of the National Council for Productive Economy, from the Miraflores Palace, the Head of State pointed out that the 13 Engines must have a “vocation towards ALBA, Latin America and the Caribbean and towards the Global South.”

“It's a line, everyone has to have their development agenda in that regard to guarantee joint investments to produce food in ALBA countries, to guarantee joint investments, to advance in all matters,” he added.

For this task, he appointed the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil; the Secretary of ALBA-TCP, Jorge Arreaza; together with the Deputy Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, and the Deputy Minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi.
