President Maduro instructs to execute road plan for Bolivar state

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his participation in the swearing in of the governor of the state of Bolivar, supported the proposal of the new regional president Yulisbeth García, in terms of the need to promote the economic development of the region through a road plan for its main trunks and roads in the entity.

“I ask the executive vice president whom I ratify as godmother of the state of Bolívar, Delcy Rodríguez, together with the Minister of Transportation (Ramón Velásquez) and the Minister of Public Works (Juan Ramírez) to appear in order to specify everything that needs to be specified and advanced in that special plan presented by the governor and it seems to me that it is a priority for the articulation of economic development,” he instructed.

He recognized the importance of the tourism engine as the great alternative pole to the oil economy that was designed by Commander Chávez.
