President Maduro: It's Time to Decide Between Fascism or Homeland

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said that “it's time to decide between fascism or Homeland.” He did so at the Joint Meeting of the Council of State and the Council for the Defense of the Nation.

“Men and women of the Homeland, men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and police forces, it's time to decide between fascism or democracy; fascism or peace and tranquility. That is the dilemma between those of us who want Homeland, peace and love Venezuela and we want to continue taking this people to the peak of prosperity and those who want to assault power to hand it over to capitalism at the cost of several thousand dead,” he said.

The Head of State added that we must remain “knee on the ground! In a popular, military and police union, we are going to fight with the constitution in hand the consolidation of the Fatherland.”
