President Maduro: Latin America and the Caribbean will succeed and Venezuela and ALBA will be at the forefront

President Nicolás Maduro, from the “General Rafael Urdaneta” Commune, in the Sucre municipality of the state of Aragua, stressed that the United States has historically conspired to overthrow governments in Latin America and the Caribbean with the objective of imposing regimes that obey their designs, but in these times the unity of peoples heralds a new order in the continent.

“In the 20th century, the United States imposed the most shameful dictatorships ever known on the continent, they overthrew Jacobo Arbenz and that Guatemalan people fought, a noble people who were massacred, and they did the same in the Dominican Republic against Juan Bosch, one of the great Latin American thinkers, an unusual man to whom they carried out their campaign of: It is communist”, asserted the Head of State.

He recalled the invasions and overthrows of presidents of the countries Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Chile and Nicaragua, orchestrated by the U.S. government, through economic warfare, psychological warfare and political warfare.

“They applied the manual to him. The one they applied to us in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, but we defeated it with the conscience of the people, with the courage of the Bolivarian people,” said the National President.

He criticized imperialism for the blood it left on the continent to subdue the peoples of the region.

“They haven't let our America be. They haven't let it be; but America will get its way and Venezuela will go to the front with ALBA and the Bolivarian Revolution, Martiana, Morazanista, for all time,” he said.
