The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro ratified his solidarity, love and support for the independence, sovereignty of the People of Mexico and its president Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

This statement was made in his show Con Maduro+ number 40 regarding the assault on the Mexican embassy in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, by Ecuadorian security agencies on the night of Friday, April 5.

“What a coincidence that the Commander of the United States Southern Command passed first through Ecuador and then -she went- to Argentina (...) Everything she did -Daniel Noboa- she did in coordination and with the approval of the United States embassy in Ecuador, there's no doubt left for them,” he said.

He denounced that “what Noboa committed was an act of barbarism, kidnapping a political asylum, brutally assaulting the Mexican embassy,” he said.

The head of state repudiated the violation of international law at the Mexican embassy by the police forces of Ecuador to kidnap former Vice President Jorge Glas, who had been granted political asylum.

“In Ecuador, a man with the last names, one of the billionaires who have plundered Ecuador for centuries, committed an act of barbarism; kidnapping a political asylum by brutally assaulting the Embassy of Mexico,” said the National President.
