President Maduro: National Power of Venezuela is a guarantee of sovereignty, independence and peace

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, emphasized that National Power is the greatest guarantee of sovereignty, independence, peace and maximum happiness that our country has today to defend its free journey towards a path of peoples living together in peace.

“Today, unlike the old oligarchic Venezuela, the power of the Nation is not an elite of oligarchs, of surnames that decided, made and undone with the country's wealth. Nowadays, the power of the Nation is the people mobilized, aware and full of values,” said the President.

In the same vein, he specified that the perfect equation of Venezuelan National Power has several components: spiritual, identity, culture, social power; since Venezuelans are building self-government, the new society and the new democracy on their bases.

The Head of State highlighted the presence of the country's military and police power, the glorious Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the Bolivarian Militia, the Bolivarian National Police and the entire Venezuelan police and weapons system.

“At present, the power of the Nation is the military, with their rifles, their tanks, their missiles, their planes,” since “they are always vigilant and guarded, taking care of the land, the sea that belongs to Venezuela,” he said.
