President Maduro: No one will take me off the streets, nothing and no one will snatch victory from our hands

The head of state, Nicolás Maduro, assured, during the act of acceptance of his candidacy by the revolutionary forces, that despite the attacks of the right, he will remain in the streets next to the People to build the victory of next July 28 in the presidential elections

In that sense, he asked the People to take care of the peace achieved, “I ask you to take care of the peace of the country, that we continue to win with peace and for peace; to take care of me wherever I go, but no one will take me off the streets, because we are going to the Great Popular Movement for the Great Victory of July 28, nothing and no one will tear the victory out of our hands,” he said.

“If you support me, if you protect me, as well as in the year 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, we will triumph again on the path of truth, on the path of renewed hope, on the path of patriotism,” added the national dignitary.

The head of state, asked for justice with regard to the recent events that occurred in Maturín, where a new plan to assassinate him was unveiled, and condemned that right-wing parties defend the organizers, “fortunately the Attorney General's Office has a very advanced investigation, with evidence, with testimony, with the captures and with all the elements that say that an attack had been framed in Maturín to assassinate me and that it came from the highest levels of the extreme right group that conspires with surnames”.
