President Maduro offers his counterpart Petro Venezuelan experience to dismantle attacks

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the program With Maduro + number 71, asked for the physical security of his Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro after he reported a new assassination attempt using missiles against the presidential plane.

“I wish President Petro all the blessing and protection of God and that he can seek out those who seek this violence against him, who is a good and profoundly human man, and I ask the Colombian people and the institutions to support President Petro so that he can continue to democratically direct the destinies of Colombia, and from here we offer him our modest help from the experience of our security forces in more than one hundred attacks against me,” he said.

He stressed that Iván Duque tried to do it several times against him and recalled that on one occasion Colombians hired and sent by the former Colombian president were captured outside two national airports.

“The public complaint was not made, but when they arrived in the Andes, a person was found and then they arrived at the site and the intelligence was being set up to shoot me,” President Maduro revealed.
