President Maduro on attacks on public services: We will continue to defeat that terrorism no matter what it takes

He reported that these attacks are led by María Corina Machado, with funding from Colombian drug trafficking and paramilitarism.

During his program With Maduro+, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, condemned the terrorist acts that oppositional extremism are carried out against public services in order to destabilize the social and political peace that prevails in the country.

Referring to the recent attacks against the electricity service that affected the distribution of energy throughout the country for 24 hours, and to the attacks against refineries and the gas center located in the state of Monagas, the National President announced that investigations reveal that the intellectual authors are in Colombia and are led by the extremist opposition María Corina Machado.

“All these attacks, as the Vice President (Delcy Rodríguez) has said, have a name and surname, they are being planned from Colombia; behind these attacks are drug trafficking and paramilitarism under the direction of María Corina Machado,” he reported.

Regarding the attack against the gas station located in Monagas state, he noted that the authors “sought to leave us without a gas plant and leave the entire east and center of the country without gas.”

“Fortunately, workers have recovered gas production in record time and in the coming days the service will be regularized, especially in the state of Nueva Esparta,” he said.
