President Maduro on La Guaira: The original independence story of all of America beats here!

This Thursday, March 07, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the transcendental nature of the state of La Guaira, since in its streets “the original independence history of all of America throbs, from here the independence of America was born”.

In this regard, during the Maduro Podcast - Episode No. 8, he highlighted the legacy left by heroes and heroines of La Guaira such as Joaquina Sanchéz and José María España. At the same time, he emphasized that just as a recovery of history has emerged, also of the historical physical spaces of the coastal entity.

In addition, the governor of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, reaffirmed that there has been a recovery of “our kindness, of our roots, which came with the Bolivarian Revolution in 1999 (...) when La Guaira was destroyed, so if you want to see what a Revolution is capable of, come to La Guaira”.

For this reason, President Maduro extended the invitation for them to visit La Guaira. “I invite all Venezuelans, all the tourists who are coming, to come to the historic spaces of La Guaira.”
