On Monday night, December 15, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, repudiated the statements of the extreme right-wing María Corina Machado, who said that 60% of the Venezuelan population is involved in drug trafficking.

The Head of State rejected María Corina Machado's calls for military invasion of Venezuela, and highlighted the overwhelming repulsion of the vast majority of Venezuelans to this genocidal commitment by the extremist known as La Sayona.

“89% of Venezuelans repudiate this criminal who calls on the people a drug trafficker, who calls for Venezuelans to invade and kill in a gringo imperialist invasion (...) They say she has a broken vertebra; what she has is broken is her brain and soul, because she is a demon. He hates Venezuela. He manipulates his remaining four followers. I, in general, don't stop what she does, because she's crazy, demented with hate,” he emphasized.

President Maduro denounced that Machado, in his desperation to justify aggression against Venezuelans, said in an interview that “60% of the Venezuelan population works for drug cartels.”
