President Maduro on World Health Day: We must guarantee free access and quality

When World Health Day was celebrated this Sunday, April 7, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the progress of the country's Public Health System to combat climate change.

“Pollution and wars that threaten the right to health of millions in the world. We have to guarantee free access and quality health care for the Venezuelan people,” stressed the head of state through the social network X.

On April 7, 1948, World Health Day was proclaimed in commemoration of the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO), with the purpose of raising awareness in the care of serious diseases and creating healthy habits in the population.
