This Friday, August 9, President Nicolás Maduro said that representatives of political parties appeared before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) empty-handed.

“They had the opportunity to hand over all the receipts and presented themselves empty-handed; that's what the Supreme Court says,” said Maduro, speaking to the press after complying with the call of the country's highest court.

In this regard, he stated that the Supreme Court recorded the audience of the three political parties running from the extreme right of Edmundo González Urrutia and they have no material”.

“His absence before the country's highest court is scandalous, as it was on June 20 for the signing of the agreement to recognize elections before the National Electoral Council (CNE). He has been ignoring Venezuelan law. It doesn't recognize the CNE or the Supreme Court. Who recognizes the United States government?” , he said.

The Head of State announced that he asked that his audience be released to be publicly known.

Venezuela has institutions and we are not going to allow any government in the world, supported by these fascists, to meddle in the affairs of Venezuela. What the Supreme Court of Justice says will be the law of the republic and the vast majority of Venezuelans will abide by it and life will go on and everything will improve,” he added.
