The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, predicted a resounding victory for his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in the presidential elections to be held from March 15 to 17 in the Eurasian nation.

During the 37th edition of his program With Maduro+, the Venezuelan head of state criticized the increase in the psychological and media war promoted by the West against the Russian president. I think that all this has to do with the elections next Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

“From Europe, the United States, Ukraine, believe that a psychological war, threatening a European escalation of the war in Ukraine, will scare the Russian people not to vote for Putin. I say to all of them, to the Europeans who keep declaring that they are going to send troops: they will not allow them to send a soldier to a war against Russia,” he said.

In this regard, he emphasized that the West will be able to escalate “in language, in psychological warfare and they will never be able to stop what is going to happen in Russia on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which is an overwhelming triumph of President Vladimir Putin.”
