President Maduro receives congratulations from his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received a letter of congratulations from his counterpart of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of his birthday.

The information was released by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, who stressed that, in his message, the Russian leader reaffirmed the strategic nature of relations between Russia and Venezuela, highlighting the leadership of the Venezuelan head of state in leading the nation and defending national sovereignty.

The Bolivarian Government expresses its gratitude for President Putin's show of fraternity and solidarity and, on behalf of President Maduro, reiterates its commitment to continue working together to build a multicentric and multipolar world, free from threats and based on mutual respect and cooperation between nations.
