President Maduro receives Repsol authorities in Miraflores to advance new agreements

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received this Monday at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, managers of the Spanish energy multinational Repsol, to move forward in the conclusion of new cooperation agreements in the field of oil.

The meeting was attended by Repsol's International Executive Director of Exploration and Production, José Carlos de Vicente Bravo, and the president of Repsol Venezuela, Luis Antonio García Sánchez. The head of state was accompanied by the Executive Vice President of the Republic and Minister of Popular Power for Petroleum, Delcy Rodríguez; and the president of Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón.

On September 14, Minister Rodríguez spoke with the authorities of the Spanish company and specified that Venezuela is advancing its energy cooperation plans and alliances with companies that, like Repsol, trust and invest in the world's first oil reserve.
