The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that to date there are 2,400 fascist commandos arrested throughout the country responsible for carrying out acts of violence in the days following the July 28 election.

“80% of those arrested did not vote on July 28 and were hired by the extremist right to cause fear and chaos in the country,” he said.

He stressed that each and every one of these detainees will be prosecuted by the Venezuelan justice system and must pay the consequences of their actions.
