On Monday night, October 27, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the people of the East for taking to the streets to protest against the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, and reported that three terrorist operations promoted by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States (USA) have been dismantled in the country.

“By the thousands, I mean millions, they took to the streets to protest against the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, they took to the streets to protest against the CIA and took to the streets to say, Venezuela wants peace, enough imperialist threats (...) The demonstrations were a response to the imperial threats, totally extravagant, unjustified, bellicose and criminal, made by the high authority of the Government of Port of Spain,” he said.

In his words, the Head of State denounced that to date, three terrorist operations, promoted by the CIA, have been dismantled in the country. The first an attack on Plaza Venezuela; the second an attack on the former embassy of the United States (USA) and the third the self-attack plan, which is “the recently dismantled self-attack plan, devised by the CIA, against U.S. military ships, near Trinidad and Tobago (...) The CIA behind the dirty work it has always done.”
