President Maduro sends a message to the People: We are good, we are fighters

National Assembly (AN) deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra reported that President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores sent a message to the People after communicating with their legal team in the United States.

Maduro Guerra stressed that the lawyers confirmed that the head of state is standing firm and transmitted the message received verbatim: “The lawyers have told us that he is strong. He said not to be sad, that we are fine, we are fighters.”

During a meeting with members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the deputy denounced that force has been used against the president who, in his opinion, tried to replace other mechanisms to try to remove his leadership. He stated that, despite the situation, Maduro maintains his moral stability and continues to exercise political leadership.

He also called on the internal organization of the PSUV and reiterated his support for the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, and the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, as essential figures of the Bolivarian Revolution.

Maduro Guerra argued that the orientation for dealing with the current situation is to follow President Maduro's guidelines and preserve political cohesion, in order to safeguard the country's stability in the face of external pressures.
